Student Life

The daily life of a student at Triada is very busy but extremely rewarding. All students live in condominiums and live with students of similar ages. Students range in ages from 8 years old to students in the college years. Students under the age of 18 will be supervised by a counselor in each condominium.

In addition to receiving 2 private lessons a week, all students at Triada are placed in a chamber music group based on their audition tape/cd, faculty recommendation, and age. These chamber music groups are coached two times a week and rehearse daily.

The students at Triada will not only have lessons and chamber music coachings but will also have technique classes and performance classes.

Below is the daily schedule for a student at Triada

  • 9-12 am- Students practice in their assigned practice rooms.
  • Noon- The whole camp gathers for lunch at the Okemo Mountain School.
  • 1-6 PM- In the afternoons, students have lessons, chamber music coachings, chamber music rehearsals, and more individual practice time.
  • 6 PM- Students gather for dinner at the Okemo Mountain School.

There are concerts and master classes beginning at 7:30 everyday except Saturday. Saturday is a free day where trips and events are planned for the students.

Guest Faculty Information:
Triada is very happy to have many guest faculty members that will appear throughout the summer. Some of these guests will give master classes, perform in concerts and some will give private lessons. These guest artists not only allow students to hear great players from around the US, but also allow students to hear new and different perspectives on how to perform.
